UniLabs has been established in 2021 to offer basic as well as advanced diagnostic services that covers myriad of biochemistry, pathology and microbiology tests both individually as well as part of suitable packages. Additionally, we have radiology department with digital X-ray and Ultrasonography as well as facility for ECG and Spirometry in our setting. We specialise in diagnosis of infectious diseases including sexually transmitted infections.
UniLabs is comprehensive and one-stop solution to offer wide array of multiple investigations under one roof with a strategy to provide convenience and efficiency to the patients. In a step further, UniLabs offers services for drawing the blood samples from the comfort of your home too, on request.

As per requirement, we provide direct interaction of patient and doctor with our team of highly qualified and experienced doctors in the lab.
Dr Prapti Gilada-Toshniwal
Dr Prapti is a Clinical Microbiologist, who is very passionate about point-of-care diagnostics,
antimicrobial stewardship and infection control. After having done her MD Microbiology
from Seth G S Medical College and KEM Hospital, she did her fellowship in HIV and Drug-
Resistant Tuberculosis from the renowned CAPRISA (Centre for the AIDS Programme of
Research in South Africa). CAPRISA, South Africa is a designated UNAIDS Collaborating
Centre for HIV Research and Policy.
She then served at the Group of TB Hospitals, Sewri (Asia’s largest TB Hospital) from 2016 to
2018. She headed the microbiology lab at Prince Aly Khan Hospital and was the Infection
Control Officer from 2018 to 2021. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she has been closely
associated with infection control practices at the hospital and also involved in prevention-
educational programs for the staff, patients and general population both online and offline.
She has also worked as Consultant Microbiologist at Picture this by Jankharia laboratory
from 2018 to 2020. She has been instrumental in setting up the in house Pathology and
Microbiology laboratory at the Masina Hospital Trust in June, 2023 and now heads the
Microbiology department at Masina Hospital.
It was her vision to have a diagnostic centre which provides genuine results with rapid turn-
around-time at affordable costs to all, with the required medical assistance from the
diagnostic end to help patients understand their illness better and hence take charge of
their health. The birth of UniLabs was a step towards this dream.
Dr Prapti has been appointed as the Independent Director of Thyrocare Technologies Ltd
from July,2023.
